Hi, I’m Jana. In 2023, I bought a ruin in Portugal and turned it into my studio, started a farm project with my family on the property next door and have a neighbor who transformed a wine cellar into a beautiful Airbnb. So: the perfect place for a creative retreat! Slow morning in the villa, sketching with the grazing horses, working in the rustic studio, hike along the coastline of the wild Atlantic Ocean, wander through the vineyards of the Lisbon countryside.

Handmade paper is always a reflection of the fibers from the specific season, the specific moment they were found. Fibers that were meant to fade.
When I create paper, something significant happens: the temporary becomes eternal.
